Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Account. Your email address and a securely hashed password. We email you only to verify your address, recover your account, confirm purchases, or tell you about a significant change to your products or these policies.

Purchases. A record of what you bought, when, and for how much. Payment itself happens on Stripe's systems; your full card number never touches ours.

Learning progress. Course progress is stored in your own browser on your own device. If account-based progress sync ships later, progress will also be stored with your account, and this policy will say so.

Funding Tracker. Opportunities you star are saved to your account so your shortlist survives the daily data refresh.

Messages. If you email us, we keep the correspondence.

2. What we never do

No advertising networks. No third-party ad trackers. No selling or renting your personal information to anyone. No marketing lists you did not ask to join.

3. Where your data lives

We use a small number of service providers to run the site, each processing data only on our instructions:

• Stripe processes payments and stores your payment details under its own privacy policy.
• Supabase hosts our account database: your email, hashed password, entitlements, and starred opportunities.
• Netlify hosts and delivers the site itself and keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security and operations.
• A transactional email provider delivers account emails, and our business mailboxes are hosted by our email provider.

4. Cookies and storage in your browser

We use browser storage for what the site actually needs: your login session, your course progress, and your preferences. We do not use tracking cookies from ad companies.

5. How long we keep things

Account data stays while your account is open. Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Close your account and we delete the personal data we are not legally required to keep.

6. Your choices

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and its data, by emailing support@counterpivothub.com from your account address. We answer within 30 days.

7. Children

The site is for business learners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes and contact

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will post the new version here with a new effective date and email account holders. Questions go to support@counterpivothub.com.
