Every filter here takes several values: pick any number and a notice needs only one of them (OR), while the filters combine with each other (AND). Notice type lists every type SAM publishes, award notices included; tick Award Notice and the deadline filters step aside for them, because an award has no response window. Set-aside, location and federal facility sit in the visible row above. SAM leaves the place of performance blank on 64% of notices and the PSC on 18%; both filters offer "not stated" so nothing is hidden silently, and the location filter's default, State Relevance, also reads the facilities a notice names so a blank place is not the end of the question.

Contracts are acquisition: you bid to a statement of work under the FAR, against a set-aside and a NAICS code. Grants are the other market and the other board — open grants are here.

A shortlist is not a pipeline
Finding the opportunity is the easy half. Reading the announcement the way the evaluator will, deciding what to bid, and writing to the scoring criteria is the system the courses teach. For a contract that means responding to the statement of work the way the evaluator reads it, under the FAR.
Listings are gathered from official public government databases and provided for research. Always confirm dates, eligibility, set-aside status and award figures against the official listing before you commit to a bid.
